Chapter 113 Do You Believe Me?
Chapter 113 Do You Believe Me?
Qin Lu's body stiffened abruptly, and she gasped, "No!"
It was that sweet, alluring voice, trembling, with a soft, sticky ending.
It was something Lin Liyan had never heard of in over a decade.
Qin Lu immediately fell silent, and there was a two-second silence on the other end of the phone.
Then Lin Liyan's voice changed: "Qin Lu, what exactly do you want? Even if you drag your feet and don't want a divorce, I will still file for divorce! You don't need to humiliate yourself like this!"
Yu Heng leaned close to her ear, lowered his voice, and asked in a breathy tone, "Tell him, are you demeaning yourself?"
"Ah!" Qin Lu let out a short, startled cry, then desperately held it back. Her shoulders trembled violently, and she instinctively said, "No... I did it willingly..."
The call ended, and Yu Heng clicked his tongue. It seemed that Lin Liyan didn't have that kind of fetish.
He withdrew his hand and took out a pack of tissues from the armrest box.
"Yu Heng! How could you do this?" Qin Lu caught her breath and glared at Yu Heng. "You've gone too far!"
"Are you angry?" Yu Heng pulled her hand. "Are you angry that I interfered, or angry that you lost your composure in front of others?"
"I'm angry because you're being unreasonable!" Qin Lu said angrily. "Didn't you say you wouldn't get involved? Are you satisfied now that I acted like that in front of him?"
Upon hearing this, Yu Heng chuckled and said, "Then I am indeed quite satisfied. I even had a reaction to your voice just now."
"Be serious!" Qin Lu said angrily.
"I can't just watch you get roasted and speechless, can I?" Yu Heng's smile faded. "Isn't it good this way? Look, he's so angry he hung up the phone."
"But what do we do next?" Qin Lu complained. "Have you thought about the consequences?"
"Consequences? What consequences could there be?" Yu Heng narrowed his eyes. "Are you worried about him filing for divorce and dividing the property?"
Qin Lu remained silent. Her anger stemmed partly from this, but more so from the feeling that her image had been completely shattered.
"You don't need to worry about that. He cheated on you first, and you have evidence, right?" Yu Heng asked.
"Of course I have them, chat screenshots, intimate photos, and all sorts of things," Qin Lu said.
"That settles it then. With this evidence, you can make him pay for emotional distress, or even leave him with nothing, unless he doesn't want to be a teacher anymore. But does he have any evidence? Just that phone call? Even if it was recorded, it doesn't prove anything," Yu Heng reassured her. "Besides, do you think the court will give more or less to someone because of infidelity during a divorce? It's all about equal division."
"Unless it's bigamy," Yu Heng chuckled, "Hey! You said they're living together, right?"
"Um……"
"Then that's it!" Yu Heng grinned. "Up to two years in prison! I can help you if you want."
Yu Heng discovered that Lin Liyan was really brave, living with his mistress in his own home?
Qin Lu was also taken aback when she heard this. Sentenced to prison?
She never imagined it would come to this.
"There's no need for this..." Qin Lu murmured, "I only stayed with him because I was thinking of Qin Ya..."
"Qin Ya?" Yu Heng clicked his tongue in surprise. "You think Qin Ya wants a father like that?"
"Phew..." Qin Lu suddenly seemed deflated. "Then I'll find time to go through the formalities with him."
"Actually, we don't have to separate," Yu Heng suddenly grinned mischievously. "It's fine as it is."
"Why?" Qin Lu frowned, sensing that he was definitely not saying anything nice.
"Because I still quite like married women, and anyway, he can't do anything to you," Yu Heng said slyly, "In the future..."
"Stop talking!" Qin Lu interrupted her. "You have such a twisted sense of humor!"
"Let's get serious," Yu Heng said, his smile fading. "I think it's too easy for him to get a divorce like this."
"Then what else do you want?" Qin Lu said calmly. "At first, I thought about going to the school to make a scene and ruin his reputation, but I didn't because of Qin Ya. Now that I've calmed down, I feel it's unnecessary. Like he said, let's part ways amicably."
"No, no, no, if he doesn't cheat, then it's a good breakup," Yu Heng sneered. "If you can't make it work, then get a divorce, that's fine. But cheating is a bit unethical. Or if she's capable, she can openly keep her home life going while having affairs on the side. A spineless coward like him needs to be taught a lesson."
"How should I teach him a lesson?" Qin Lu asked instinctively.
"This takes time," Yu Heng said, looking at her. "Do you trust me?"
"Believe you?" Qin Lu was taken aback.
"Trust me, have faith in me," Yu Heng said.
Qin Lu fell silent. Adults' answers are always carefully considered; what comes out of the mouth may be the truth, but it may not be a responsible statement.
The car's air conditioning was blowing loudly, and Yu Heng didn't urge him; he just waited.
"I believe you," she finally spoke, her voice a little dry. "So what are you going to do?"
Yu Heng turned to the side and placed his left hand on the back of the passenger seat.
This position brought him closer to Qin Lu, and his hand gently caressed the back of her hand.
"Just keep stalling," Yu Heng said. "If he keeps pressuring you, just set conditions so he can leave with nothing."
Qin Lu finally turned to look at him: "Will he agree?"
"If you don't agree, then let's just wait it out." Yu Heng smirked. "Anyway, it's him who's in a hurry, not you."
"And then?" Qin Lu asked.
She didn't really understand what Yu Heng wanted to do.
"Then," Yu Heng paused, "then the next step is to make the woman he's currently infatuated with leave him."
"What do you mean?" Qin Lu was taken aback.
"That woman," Yu Heng asked, "do you know her name? What are the details?"
Qin Lu pursed her lips; of course she knew.
She went through Lin Liyan's phone, took screenshots, and even secretly wrote down the girl's student ID and class.
"I know," Qin Lu said. "She's a student at Tangcheng University of Science and Technology, on the West Campus. Are you looking for her?"
"Hmm," Yu Heng said, "Let's make contact and see what's going on with her."
"Why would you contact her?" Qin Lu frowned.
"Let's break their relationship a little," Yu Heng said.
Yu Heng wondered what this girl was after.
Looking for a good job? Lin Liyan is almost forty. People online say that men over twenty-five can only chat. That's a bit of an exaggeration, but can a forty-year-old man really be as good as an eighteen-year-old male of the same age?
For the money? A high school Chinese teacher's salary isn't high.
Haha, he suddenly felt that they might be truly in love.
Qin Lu did not respond.
She leaned back in the driver's seat and suddenly felt a little tired.
Yu Heng turned to look at her.
The setting sun slanted in through the car window, falling on her face. Her eyelashes drooped, and her lips were pursed slightly.
This appearance is somewhat pitiful.
"Come inside, it's almost six o'clock. Going back and forth won't be enough trouble," Yu Heng said, looking at her. "I'll make some food, want to eat together?"
"Yu Heng," Qin Lu called out to him, "you're such a bastard."
"Why are you suddenly yelling at me again?"
Calling you a bastard is actually a compliment! Get off, I'm hungry!
