" You know, I was just busy."

" Of course I rushed as soon as I heard that our little princess was unhappy!"

" Look, I also brought so many toys for you. They will be here soon!"

" Yes, yes, It is my fault. Will you please forgive me?"

Seeing Samuel make a series of plea to the pouting little girl made others look at him with annoyance especially Mayra and Kayla. They called him here to solve the situation not to further pamper her! It was not hard to imagine that once he was gone, they had to bear the brunt of her tantrums.

" Stop it! You are making it worse!"

" That's right, I don't want her to grow up spoiled!" They made a series of arguments. Samuel only gave them a angry look before resuming his work. He obviously considered this factor but before appeasing her highness, there was no chance for her to 'teach' her.

Raising children was a step by step process, it was evident that the girls who recently adopted her didn't know much about how to coerce little kids. Samuel was an expert dealing with many children in the estate and even his little brother who was a decade younger than him!

" What about I take you around the city today? Didn't you want to see the surprise that I prepare for you? I am sure you will like this gift!" Finally hearing the word 'surprise' and 'gift' made Elise look at him for the first time. She was obviously tempted!

He took the initiative to bolster up his promises further reducing the scrunch on her face. He was almost there!

" Alright....talk to her about it too don't just...you know." Mayra said in cryptic tone referring to her tantrums. She didn't restrict Elise's movements but this time everyone knew that she was too much.

" I will."

They moved on from the subject and started talking about other things. It's only been two days since they came back so not much had happen but they needed to rush to work because of the extended vacation.

Soon Mayra and Kayla left one after another and soon Samuel dressed up casually to meet up with Delphina. Nicole on the other hand was left to cater to Elise choosing her small outfit and brushing her hair. It's not her first time, when Elise was living in the Estate she often took care of her when Mayra was busy.

They departed and came to the same cafe where Delphina and Alexis were waiting for them. Samuel knew he was late but there was nothing he could do, Elise took more time than usual to dress up. He didn't even had the chance to inform Delphina that he was bringing a child to the 'party'.

They entered the cafe, the handsome young man holding a doll like little lady was enough to attract attention of staff but they already knew that he was coming so they quickly led him to the specific private box.

Samuel image was too eye catching for them to forget even when he was wearing a cap and sunglasses to hide his face. The small strands of his silver hairs as well his uptight and golden physique how could they ever forget it? Sharon was aware of this phenomenon as the staff girls talked about him since morning.

Just as he entered the room, Alexis' eyes fell on him. He had already removed his disguise so it didn't take long for her to guess his identity.

"What is the relationship between the two of you?" At this moment, Alexis could help but ask, it took her a moment to recovered from her shock. Upper Elites were basically aware of his existence even when he didn't publically appear much after the press conference.

" As you can see, we are allies." Delphina's answer immediately distinguish Alexis' sliver of hope, it was like cold water pouring all over her body. If they were really 'partners', would Hermes even have a chance to do anything? The answer was a clear no!

Her atmosphere turned gloomy seeing the young man walking toward them. He didn't care about her gaze only looking at Elise taking careful steps beside him.
