Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed

Chapter 347: The Dark Great Mage

Chapter 347: The Dark Great Mage

Mirabella narrowed her eyes at Andrew’s arrogance. She turned her head to Grace, her tone leaving absolutely no room for negotiation: "Activate your new bloodline, and use the skill I gave you last night." She said seriously.

"Um... I... I don’t know how to handle that state." Grace stammered, her hands visibly trembling as she gripped her staff, her breathing growing shallow. The raw, cataclysmic memory of the skill scroll Mirabella had handed her in the dead of night was enough to make her core shudder.

"Don’t worry, you can do it... Besides, if you don’t use it, how will you Master it?" Mirabella said; Without another word, she turned back to the stage, expecting absolute obedience.

"Come on! Don’t disappoint Big sister! You saw how I handled my match! Show him who’s the strongest." Carl said with a confident, reassuring smile, trying to inject some of his own battle-hardened courage into her.

Hitachi, Austin, and the others from the Dragon Academy stared intently at the three, all completely lost. What sort of forbidden ability did Mirabella secretly pass to Grace during their brief rest period?

"Grace, we are waiting for you." Davy called out, his amplified voice echoing through the massive coliseum, drawing the collective focus of millions back to the arena floor.

"Yes."

Grace took a deep, shuddering breath, filling her lungs with air, and slowly exhaled to steady her racing heart. She marched forward with determined strides, her boots clicking against the pristine stone until she stood exactly 50 meters away from Andrew.

Up in the staging area, the suspense was suffocating.

"Um... Captain, what skill did you give her?" Aurelia couldn’t hold back her intense curiosity any longer, and asked, her eyes darting between the two girls.

"Just watch." Mirabella said, her expression remaining perfectly flat and unreadable.

"...?"

The group slowly nodded their heads, swallowing their unanswered questions, and turned their heads strictly back to the two contestants on the stage.

"Okay you two, begin!!" Davy yelled, flying high into the safe upper atmosphere, completely leaving the stage open for the two fighters.

Andrew smirked, cracking his knuckles as a volatile, haughty aura flared around his body. He looked down at the petite mage with sheer condescension: "Okay little girl. I won’t go hard---"

Suddenly, Andrew completely froze mid-sentence, his arrogant words catching in his throat, his eyes widening in sheer, primal shock.

Up in the VIP viewing tiers, the sudden, violent shift in the arena’s atmospheric pressure sent shockwaves through the empire’s master teacher.

"This?" Hayatobi abruptly stood straight up from his plush seat in total disbelief, his eyes wide open as he witnessed the impossible spike in energy.

"What is she doing?! Such killing intent... What sort of skill is that?" Yakima asked, her composure shattering as a cold bead of sweat slowly rolled down her face. Even with her Soul Eyes, the sheer, crushing weight of the unfolding magic was suffocating.

"What is this?" Princess Carolina asked in deep shock from the royal box, her wide eyes reflecting the unnatural crimson light bleeding into the arena.

"This skill... What the hell is this skill?" Lucas asked, his hands tightly gripping his seat until it cracked under his grip.

"This is crazy..." Nadia thought, her mind racing as she stared intently at Grace:

’What the hell is happening here? The Dragon Empire doesn’t house such a skill in any of its historical archives,’ she thought, a deep, troubled slight frown tightening on her face as she looked for any hidden symbols.

"This battle is over." Keegan said, lightly shaking his head in pity for the Sword Academy student.

"Are all the people around Mirabella monsters?" Delphine thought, swallowing hard as her breathing grew heavy under the sudden pressure.

_

On the vast Arena floor, the arrogant smirk was violently ripped from Andrew’s face. He instinctively took a frantic step back, his instincts screaming at him to flee as a thick, viscous red smoke started violently spinning around Grace, creating a localized hurricane of magic. High above her head, the space itself tore open, and two massive, glowing red eyes materialized, staring down like ancient, wrathful deities.

".....?!"

The ethereal eyes spun violently around Grace’s floating form, compressing the ambient air into a hyper-dense sphere of pressure, and then brutally smashed down directly onto her body.

BOOOOM!!!

A massive, terrifying dark wave of pure, unadulterated killing intent erupted outward, washing aggressively against the transparent stadium barriers. The obscuring darkness slowly receded, and Grace calmly walked out from the epicenter of the crater. She quietly looked down at her hands, feeling the terrifying flow of energy completely rewriting her physical and magical states, and nodded her head in deep satisfaction:

’I did it! I completed the Dark Great Mage bloodline.’ She thought, a brilliant, confident smile appearing on her face.

"What sort of skill is this?!" Andrew asked in absolute shock, his voice cracking as he felt his own baseline aura being effortlessly suffocated by her mere presence.

"This isn’t a skill, it’s my bloodline... My senior just helped me awakened it yesterday... With this form, all my attacks, and stats will be multiplied by 500%... In truth, even a Lv500 will have a hard time stopping one of my skill." Grace explained calmly, her voice resonating with an echoing, otherworldly tone that chilled the blood of everyone listening.

She slowly raised her bare hand high above her head, casting her eyes over the terrified boy before her: "Your arrogance irritated my Senior Sister, as for this, I will make you pay."

BOOOOM!!!!

The sky above the arena completely vanished. A gigantic, apocalyptic black fireball violently materialized above her, expanding with terrifying speed until its massive circumference literally covered the entire stage from wall to wall. Davy’s and the whole audience’s jaws instantly dropped in profound shock, staring up at the artificial sun of dark matter. The dense, volatile killing intent emanating from the black flames was so intense that several low level spectators in the front rows nearly fainted from suffocation.

"What an attack." Andrew muttered, his breath hitching. He stared at the world-ending fireball, his legs trembling, then desperately looked over his shoulder toward his academy’s section, locking eyes with Jessica. Her expression remained entirely emotionless, cold and detached. He gritted his teeth, a bitter realization washing over him; he knew Jessica would never step forth onto the stage to help him, and his pride dictated that he would never openly admit defeat in front of the three empires.

"You start with your strongest ability! I won’t hold back to!" He yelled, a manic, desperate bravado taking over. He burned his entire remaining energy, causing intense, volatile blue flames to aggressively surround his two fists.

"Come on!!!"

He yelled at the top of his lungs, and Grace, showing absolute, indifferent control, simply dropped her raised hand down towards him.

WHOOSH!!

Andrew didn’t foolishly wait for the catastrophic fireball to descend and crush him; instead, he initiated his ultimate movement technique and shot violently upward into the sky, directly towards the center of the dark mass. He channeled every single ounce of his lifeforce and spirit energy into his knuckles, and sent a desperate, roaring punch made of pure blue flames colliding straight into the dark matter.

BOOOOM!!!

A catastrophic explosion occurred from the fierce encounter. The resulting shockwaves smashed heavily against the reinforced Arena barrier, causing the massive structures to crackle and groan, thoroughly shocking the trembling audience.

The blue flames were instantly swallowed whole. Andrew flew violently out of the sky like a broken bird, smashing heavily on the stone ground, creating a deep indentation. Half of his elite noble clothes were completely burnt to cinders, his skin scorched from the backdraft.
